Coffee Lake Lunch Break

While not quite the best lunch break ever, this one was pretty good too!  After a morning hike along the nearby Ross River to do our final snowpit of the trip, Ken and I stopped here on Coffee Lake to enjoy a tasty lunch from the back of our car with a glorious Yukon mountain view.  The mountains in the photo are just a section of a long ridge that continued a lot further in either direction.  In my Yukon journal, I summed up this experience pretty well: “It was a good lunch.”
