Photo #880 – 04.13.11
It is a lot of fun taking photos in and around barns, especially when there is some great lighting and various things lying about the barn. This photo was taken soon after sunrise, and the sunlight filtered in through the narrow slits of the barn siding to brighten up the barn and create cool patterns along the wooden beams that were lying in the same direction as the stripes of light and shadow.
Today’s photography tip: Find an old barn, make sure you are allowed to be in it, make sure it is reasonably safe (aside from the typical hidden holes, sharp hanging tools, etc.), and shoot away!
