Hairy Cornstalk

If you’ve ever looked reeeeeaall closely at a cornstalk, you’d probably notice there are hundreds thousands of little tiny hairs covering every bit of the entire stalk.  Of course, anyone who has ever had corn on the cob knows all too well that there are fibrous strands in the corn, but I had not realized just how hairy the cornstalks were until I took this photo in Amy & Brian’s garden.
