Twilight Through Dormant Trees
Growing up in a house in the woods meant that for most of the year, the setting sun was obscured by the forest of trees all around. But come winter, the evening sky was able to shine right through the bare trees, allowing us to enjoy the sunset and ensuing twilight period. This photo was taken one winter evening as the sky just above the horizon was all aglow, and thanks to the dormant trees, I was able to watch.
