Morning Water Spheres
Morning dew always looks really cool when you look up close and see something like the water spheres of different sizes on this plant leaf.
Purple and White Macro
Here’s a flower close-up with a bit of an in-focus/out-of-focus mixture and a nice purple and white color scheme. I often forget just how cool flowers like this can look when you zoom in real close!
Pile O’ CDs
Remember these things? In a time of MP3 players, streaming internet radio, YouTube videos and more, the proportion of people regularly listening to CDs has definitely decreased. I have a few in my car that I listen to every once in a while but am otherwise all digital.
How often do you listen to music CDs??
Wedding Dress Detail
Wedding dresses can certainly be intricately designed, and my sister-in-law Amy had a beautiful dress. It was repurposed from my mother-in-law’s wedding dress and had great flowery details, some of which are shown in the photo above.
Daisy, Daisy, Give Me Your Answer Do
I’m half crazy, all for the love of you.
This song, “Daisy Bell”, is a well known song (or at least the chorus is, of which this phrase is the beginning and the line “…of a bicycle built for two” is the ending). Of course, the song doesn’t really have much to do with the flower in the photo above, but the song ran through my head as I was looking though photos. This is one of many daisy photos I took last July on a camping trip when these oxeye daisies were everywhere and afforded lots of great photo opportunities.
Frosty Fallen Leaf
The tiny frost crystals all over this fallen leaf created a cool texture that was enhanced by the early morning orangish sunlight coming from the horizon. It looked neat enough to make me stop, get on my knees and elbows in the frosty, wet grass, and take some close-up shots of the leaf.
